Harriet Spear Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio specializing in wayfinding strategy and experiential graphic design, information design and planning, branding, communications, video and photography services — for architectural facilities, parks and public places, museums, educational and cultural institutions.

The studio was founded in 2002 by Harriet Spear, building upon a 25 year career as designer, creative and studio director. Harriet’s work ranges from exhibition graphics for the Smithsonian Institution to signage and wayfinding for America’s National Parks; has received awards from Society for Environmental Graphic Design and Industrial Design Society of America; and has been featured in Print Magazine, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times Magazine. Harriet is an adjunct professor teaching design foundation with the Fashion Institute of Technology, Communication Design Program.

Harriet Spear Studio is a Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) certified with New York City, the State of New York, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
